DVD navigation

Simple but effective: the A6 features a light sensor to switch on low-beam headlights automatically in poor light conditions, such as at dusk or when entering a tunnel.

Night-time driving is made safer by a networked light system that uses steering wheel movements to identify the upcoming road course and turn the headlights accordingly. |

The fully automated Electronic Stability Programme provides intelligent management of the A6 Saloon’s braking systems and intervenes in the engine management system to restore traction to individual wheels. |

Tyre pressure monitoring
The A6 Saloon’s monitoring system continuously monitors tyre pressure, providing a visual and audible alert. Pressure changes due to varying temperatures are compensated for automatically. |

Extra space
The new A6 Saloon is both longer and broader. With larger footwells there is now greater leg protection, while extra shoulder room lessens the likelihood of upper body injury. |

SIDEGUARD®
